What is your rate for a standard therapy session:
$175 for 55 minutes

Like most specialty providers, I do not participate with insurance plans. Paying out of pocket is a great option for people who want to maximize confidentiality and flexibility without being limited by insurance’s rules. *See Benefits Calculator below to check your insurance.
What should I expect in my first few sessions?
The first session (or two) will be an Intake that includes answering a lot of questions about your history and what brings you to seek help at this time. Subsequent sessions will focus on getting to know you on a deeper level, and likely exploring more specific goals you may have in mind. As time goes on, sessions will look different depending on the current focus and what transpires along the way. Each client’s circumstances and progress are unique; therefore, I suggest avoiding comparisons.
How often will I come?
I strongly recommend coming weekly for the first few months as we are getting comfortable and building rapport, but this could change based on your goals and needs.
Do you provide in-person or online appointments?
Both! My office in Cresskill is available to me on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for in-person sessions, and I am flexible to provide telehealth sessions for clients throughout New Jersey on other days. Telehealth clients must be located in NJ during the time of their visit.

Can I still use my insurance?
Yes! Payment is collected upfront on the day of your session, but if your insurance has Out-Of-Network (OON) benefits, you are welcome to submit your sessions for reimbursement either independently or through a third party company. Please ask me about this process so I can help!
Investment:
55 minute Individual session: $175 (standard session)
45 minute Individual session: $150
50 minute Family session: $225
What is your cancellation policy?
I require 48 hours notice for cancellations, since I will have that time slot reserved specifically for you. There will be occasional exceptions for emergencies. The fee for late cancellations and for no-shows is the cost of your full session as it was scheduled.
How do I communicate with you?
We will communicate via the Client Portal messaging which is HIPAA compliant, and you will also join sessions via the Portal. I will respond within 1-2 business days. If you need immediate attention or are having a psychiatric emergency, please do not utilize messaging for this; Instead, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
